Hey all and thanks for reading this. I’ve spent more time with this issue than I care to mention. OK, I’m usually a hypervisor kind of guy, but I have a new (well old) server I just finished building and plan on moving my NAS and media things over and really want to use docker. I’m stuck on this; sudo docker create –name=sonarr -e PUID=1000 -e PGID=1000 -e TZ=America/New_York -e UMASK_SET=022 #optional -p 8989:8989 -v /path/to/data:/config -v /path/to/tvseries:/tv -v /path/to/downloadclient-downloads:/downloads –restart unless-stopped linuxserver/sonarr It starts great, no issues. The issue is when I try and enter the path to my host tv folder in sonarr, when adding a new show, I get “Folder is not writable by user abc” When I terminal into the active sonarr container, I see that user abc is 1000 for uid, gid. On the host my user, myusername, is guid 1000. I think I understand it’s a mismatch, but I don’t know how to correct it. Any help would be appreciated. submitted by /u/notta_Lamed_Wufnik [link] [comments]
