We have a native Python Service that is running on the python:3.8-slim-buster image on a Windows Host. It uses a raw TCP connection. Every time we try to connect to the socket, the connection connects and then closes. We can see the packets in both Wireshark and the Docker stats page. The HTTP portion of the service is connecting correctly. docker run -d –name transceiver_01 –env-file “c:environment.env” -p 8081:8080 -p 20937:20937 transceiver-image-v01 Output from the client: Connecting to localhost … Connected to localhost Connection closed I have tried to attach the VS Code debugger using https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/containers/debug-python, but that doesn’t connect and has no errors. We have another image for logging that appears to exhibit the same symptoms (HTTP works, but raw TCP doesn’t). submitted by /u/tl8roy [link] [comments]
