Questions on AWS ECS – using docker

Hello all, I’m working on creating a staking pool (not really relevant), but it requires 3 separate instances: Primary node (connected to relay node) Relay node (only internet facing node) Registration node (connected to relay node) I wanted to use Docker ad ECS to do this. However, I have a few questions on how this would work and what would be the best setup. Initially, I was thinking about creating a single cluster with 3 ec2 instances inside the cluster, but it looks like when creating a cluster you have the option of auto assigning public IP or not, which leads me to believe that this won’t work, as the only instance that needs to be internet facing is the Relay node. But would it be possible to create 1 cluster with 3 ec2 instances and create a vpc with both public and private subnets and then assign the private subnets to the primary/registration node and assign the public subnet to the relay node? If this is not possible, then would I create 1 cluster for each node? If so, can these clusters communicate with each other?
