I know this sounds silly, but I have looked at tutorial after tutorial. They all tend to use the same general setup and it’s pretty non-pragmatic. I’m able to get these up and running, but I’m not sure how to actually configure them! If I want to set up a docker container on my pi, where do I put configuration files? Do they go in std /etc? Do I need to ssh into the running container to set things up? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of using docker (modifying the image?) Do I need to map folders? Lots of unanswered questions left by these tutorials. If someone has a link to a truly decent docker tutorial, and not one that’s too generalized, I would appreciate it. submitted by /u/ultralame [link] [comments]
