Hello fellow kubernetes people! I have some experience with kubernetes, but I have a curiosity: how is kubernetes used in your organization? – A single cluster with each team having its own namespace? – one cluster per team? – one cluster per application? – one cluster per environment (production, staging, testing, etc)? What is the scope of a kubernetes cluster and how does it relate to applications and teams? For now, I working with a single cluster, a namespace for production, a namespace for staging and some extra namespaces for various internal applications (eg. a namespace dedicated for Nexus), but I am thinking that maybe I am doing something wrong or I can do things better. For now we are a small startup and only I responsible for deploying things to each environment (I have configured some pipelines with Gitlab for that, so basically I don’t really deploy things myself, but I am the sole responsible for now) but I am concerned how things are going to evolve once we start growing our team. submitted by /u/i_like_trains_a_lot1 [link] [comments]
