So, I tried to create a Minecraft server using docker, not really the most optimised thing, but the reason for it is that I want to more easily close and open the server (I would only pause and start the container via portainer). But for some reason, I can’t the the port to be published (it doesn’t show on the portioner containers published ports) everything else is running just fine, also, if anyone suggests any other lighter linux distro, feel free to comment! oh, and this is my portainer info. here is my docker-compose: “` version: “2.1” services: minecraft-server: build: ./server volumes: ./server/data:/mine-server/data ports: 44444:44444 restart: unless-stopped “` and here is the dockerfile: “` FROM ubuntu RUN apt-get update RUN apt-get install -y default-jdk RUN mkdir -p /server COPY ./data /server WORKDIR /server EXPOSE 44444 RUN java -Xms512M -Xmx1G -jar server.jar nogui “` submitted by /u/LombardiD [link] [comments]
