I appeared for CKA exam first time on 15th September 2020. I would like to share my experience to get advice from those who have successfully cleared it. The questions all seemed doable to me but I was facing issues when I sat down to actually solve those problems. I could not find the certificate paths for the control plane components (I looked into the manifest file and the corresponding hostPath for the volumes attached for PKI certificates). The directory didn’t exist. And then unfortunately, about 40 minutes into the exam, I was also unable to open the k8s docs page (HTTP Error 503). All this lead to panic and struggle and ultimately me performing poorly in the exam. I am trying to understand how to do better in the next attempt. I completed all the labs from CKA course by Mumshad Mannambeth on Udemy. I understand that I lacked practice, but I couldn’t find resources for practice. submitted by /u/WolfFromHeaven [link] [comments]
